Commercial Photographers

                                                         
These are examples of Commercial photography that I found stand out to me for one reason or another. In this blog post, I will be explaining why they stood out to me.



This Image created by Armando Enrique caught my eye as a good piece of commercial photography because of the lighting on the object that is centred and because of the creative design of the tomato slices representing the bottle of Heinz Ketchup.


These two images a part of a campaign were both created by Eion Holland. I enjoy his work for kilkennyshop.ie as the dripping of green paint is eye-catching along with the title of Green Friday. I think that it's a fun yet simplistic way to get the message across.


This image was taken by James Prechel. What I like about this image is the contrast between dark and light in order to make the bottle appear more professional and high quality as it appears to be a more vibrant colour. I also think that the liquid coming from the bottle is unrealistic but more attractive to look at as it resembles a piece of silk.

Using External Flash for the first time

For this lab, we were tasked with using the external flash for the first time. An external flash is an attachment tool to the camera which produces a brighter and more diverse effect on the subject of the camera. When using the external flash I found that it was able to capture the subject in a more appropriately darker setting. We were able to achieve beautiful clarity in the darkest of rooms and even acquire shadow behind the subject. In this first image, there are two shared subjects the rest of the image is left in darkness to highlight the subjects. In this next image, we have the subject's features highlighted by the flash, which outlines every detail of her features. In this image, we were able to get a shot of the subject in a professional studio and I captured a picture of the subject against a white backdrop. This allowed me to see the shadows that fell against the backdrop and the outline of the figure. The external flash highlighted along with the feature...
